I am a Day Girl!

The last weekend in July I was able to take a weekend away to Salt Lake. It was the annual Day Girls Retreat...something I look forward to all year. I am so proud to be a Day girl! My grandma, Marcelyn Day Neil, is the daughter of Willard Day. He was a fireman in Draper, UT. Willard was one of eight siblings. All of the girls that are descendants of those 8 Day children are those who attend Day Girls! I think our numbers are right around 70...AMAZING! I am so blessed to be a part of this family. I missed Dan, Stella, and Owen lots, but I came home with a renewed determination to be the best me. Playing cards, laughing,talking, and eating with a bunch of the best women for a weekend will do that!
